Uttarakhand: Road accident on Gangotri Highway, car lost control and fell into a ditch, one dead
News of a road accident is coming from Uttarkashi. A car went out of control at Singoti near Dunda on Gangotri Highway and fell into a 100 meter deep gorge. A person died in the accident.

The accident is being reported around 3 o’clock on Monday afternoon. People nearby informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police team and SDRF personnel immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Due to the steep rock, the team had to face difficulties in the rescue.
One person died in the accident
After a lot of hard work, the SDRF team reached the gorge. But by then the car rider had died. There was only one person in the car during the accident. The deceased has been identified as Mamlesh (42) son of Ramlal resident of Dehradun. The police has taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
