The Pithoragarh-Dharchula motor road was closed due to debris falling due to the cracking of the hill in Ningalpani. People are facing difficulties due to the closure of the road.

House destroyed due to heavy rain in Munsiyari

Due to the rain late on Tuesday night, the arrangements in Dharchula and Munsiyari have once again become bad. A house has collapsed due to heavy rain in Saipolu of Munsiyari. Thankfully, there were no casualties in this accident. Along with this, rivers and streams are also in spate due to rain. Due to which people are facing problems.

Pithoragarh-Dharchula motor road closed due to cracking of hill

Due to heavy rains, the hill cracked due to landslide near Ningalpani, about six kilometers behind Dharchula. The Pithoragarh-Dharchula motor road has been closed due to debris. Due to the road being blocked, people going to and coming from Dharchula to Jauljibi, Gorichhal, Didihat, Pithoragarh got stuck on the way.

The 40 meter long foot bridge built in Thuligad tilted

The bridge could not be opened even till Wednesday morning due to which hundreds of vehicles remained stranded. After which people walked to the other side and caught other vehicles from there. Along with this, a bridge tilted in Thuligad of Bungbung Simkhola. The bridge can fall anytime.
