Uttarakhand: Dehradun Kanta Thapa road accident case, bus driver arrested!

Police has arrested the bus driver in the case of death of a lady inspector in Dehradun, police has registered a case against the driver under the new law (BNS)!
The accused bus driver has been arrested in the road accident death case of lady inspector Kanta Thapa going from Dehradun to Haridwar on Ajabpur flyover of Dehradun! Police has registered a case against the accused under section 106 (1)125,125(B)281 and 324 (4)BNS of the Indian Penal Code (BNS)!
According to the complaint of Karishka Mohan Thapa resident Residential Complex Police Station Cantt, his mother Kanta Thapa resident Vasundhara Vihar Bhagwanpur Police Station Mukhani Nainital presently residing Government residence Police Station Cantt who was posted in Police Department as Additional Sub Inspector in Police Station Barkot Uttarkashi and had come for Kanwar duty, on Saturday morning lady constable Shakuntala Police Station Cantt Dehradun was going to Haridwar on duty on a scooty!
According to the complaint, when she reached Ajabpur flyover Haridwar road, a Volvo bus coming from behind at high speed hit the scooty from behind! Due to which Kanta Thapa suffered serious injuries, due to which she died on the spot. While female constable Shakuntala has also suffered serious injuries, who is being treated in a private hospital!
On the basis of the complaint of the daughter of the deceased female inspector Kanta Thapa, the police registered a case against the bus driver and detained the driver Hariom resident Rupnagar Punjab from the spot itself. Nehru Colony police station in-charge Mohan Singh said that in this case, the Volvo bus has been taken into custody and the driver has been arrested under the relevant sections and presented in the court and sent to jail!
