Madhya Pradesh: Minister Nagar Singh Chauhan is angry at being stripped of the forest department, he will leave the ministerial post, his wife will also resign from the MP post

In Madhya Pradesh, Cabinet Minister Nagar Singh Chauhan in Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s government has become angry after the Forest Department was taken away from him. He has adopted a rebellious attitude and has also threatened to resign from the post of minister. He even said that if his words are not heard, then Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan, MP from Jhabua-Ratlam parliamentary seat, will also resign from her post.
After becoming a minister in the Mohan Yadav government, Nagar Singh Chauhan had three departments. On Sunday, the Forest and Environment Department was given to Ramniwas Rawat. This made Nagar Singh Chauhan angry. At present, he is left with only the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department. This is being seen as a decrease in his stature in the cabinet. Nagar Singh Chauhan’s wife Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan is a Lok Sabha member from Jhabua-Ratlam seat. The budget session has started in Parliament from Monday, in which all the MPs had to participate. Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan was also going to go to Delhi. However, after Sunday’s incident, she did not go to Delhi and was stopped.
Why is Nagar Singh Chauhan angry?
Nagar Singh Chauhan says that if any of his departments were to be taken away, he could have been informed. It is wrong to take away his department and give it to a leader who came from Congress. This decision was taken suddenly and the Forest and Environment Department was taken away from him. He will put forth his point on the party forum. Sources say that he has already put forth his point in front of the party’s state president VD Sharma. He has also said that if the problem is not resolved, his wife Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan will also leave the MP post.
This is what Nagar Singh Chauhan said
In a telephonic conversation with the media, Chauhan said that “Alirajpur was considered an impregnable fort of the Congress. We are continuously fighting the Congress there. After winning elections continuously, Alirajpur district got the opportunity to become a minister for the first time in the Madhya Pradesh government. After seven months, without asking, without discussing, two of my departments have been given to minister Ramnivas Rawat who has come from the Congress. I am very sad about this. We are the original workers of the BJP. Workers have been struggling for years throughout Madhya Pradesh since the time of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. I am sad that the department has been taken away from a worker like me and handed over to a leader who has come from the Congress. I feel that one should not remain on this post.” However, Amar Ujala tried to talk to him and find out if he has resigned, then he said that “Right now I am in a meeting. I will talk to you later.”
