Uttarakhand: Advocate Vikesh Negi was expelled from the district for six months, for this reason he was shown the way out of Dehradun

Advocate Vikesh Negi has been expelled from the district for six months by Dehradun Police under the Goonda Act after being found involved in illegal occupation of land, fraud and other criminal activities. Vikesh Negi has serious allegations of illegal occupation of land under the guise of RTI and advocacy.

Advocate Vikesh Negi expelled from the district for six months

SSP Dehradun had directed all the police station in-charges to take action against habitual criminals in their respective police station areas under the Goonda and Gangster Act. In the same sequence, Nehru Colony Police Station has expelled Advocate Vikesh Negi, son of Sobat Singh, resident of Dharampur, from the district under the Goonda Act.

Many cases including illegal occupation of land are registered

Police said that Vikesh Negi is a habitual and cunning criminal. Several cases related to rioting, threat to kill, illegal occupation of land and fraud have been registered against the accused Vikesh Negi, in relation to which a report was prepared against the accused under the Goonda Act and submitted to Dehradun District Magistrate Sonika.

Police instructed not to enter the district boundary

Taking cognizance of the report, the DM ordered the expulsion of the accused from the district for six months. After which, on Thursday, the police released the accused Vikesh Negi outside the district boundary in the Tehri border while making an announcement with drums. Along with this, strict instructions have been given not to enter the district boundary for the stipulated period of six months.
