Uttarakhand: BJP MLA receives death threat, dangerous message also comes on wife’s WhatsApp; case registered

Almora district’s Salt MLA Mahesh Jina and his family have received death threats. On the complaint of the son, the police have registered a case against the accused and started investigating the matter.

Salt MLA Mahesh Jina’s son Karan Jina filed a complaint in Bhatraunjkhan police station. He told that on July 30, his father and his entire family were busy arranging food at their residence. Hansa alias Harsh Singh Negi called him on his mobile at around 8 pm and started abusing him. After some time, the accused called the MLA and abused him as well and threatened to kill him and his entire family. A message threatening to kill was sent on the MLA’s wife’s WhatsApp. In such a situation, his entire family is scared.

SSP Devendra Pincha said that after receiving the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused under necessary sections and investigation has been started. Action will be taken in the matter soon.
