Gujarat ATS (Anti Terror Squad) raided an industrial unit in Surat. Drugs were being made here. ATS has seized raw material worth about Rs 20 crore. ATS has also arrested 2 people in this case. ATS had received information that drugs were being made in a factory. Based on the information, when the ATS team reached the spot on Wednesday night, they raided the premises. After this, they went inside the premises and inspected it. When the ATS team went inside, they saw the material used in making drugs. After this, the ATS team sealed the unit.

Medicines worth crores of rupees recovered
It is being told that during the raid, a large quantity of illegal medicines were recovered, which can be worth more than Rs 20 crore. These medicines should not have been released in the market, which are used in the manufacture of narcotics in a special way. During the raid, the police have also seized important documents and evidence related to this factory. In this action, the police have arrested two people, who have been arrested on charges of production and distribution of illegal medicines. These two people are being questioned. The owner of the industrial unit has not been traced.

Such a unit has been found earlier too
Let us tell you that earlier also action was taken on the manufacturing unit of making drugs in Gujarat. In April, the raid was done jointly by ATS and Narcotics Control Bureau. At that time mephedrone worth Rs 230 crore was recovered. Apart from this, 13 people were also arrested.
