Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge may come to Uttarakhand in September, preparations to hold a big rally in Doon

Party’s top leader Rahul Gandhi and national president Mallikarjun Kharge may visit Uttarakhand in September to enthuse Congress workers for the upcoming Kedarnath assembly by-election and civic elections in the state.

The party high command has already given its consent. They may visit Uttarakhand between 15 and 20 September. The State Congress Committee is preparing to hold a public meeting in Dehradun. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi patted the back of state president Karan Mahara on Congress’ victory in Badrinath and Mangalore assembly by-elections. Rahul issued a letter praising the victory on both seats and expressed hope that in future he will take Congress’ policies to every household.
