Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s reaction has come to the fore on the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. He issued a video message saying that the mind is distressed to see the pictures coming from there, I am not able to sleep properly. He said that I am saddened that the people who nurture divisive sentiments on the basis of caste and religion in our country are silent on the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. These people used to form their own group and take out candle marches on many incidents happening in the world, but today they have closed their eyes after seeing the oppression being committed on Hindus.

He said that only vote bank is important for these people. Caste is important for them. Hindu society is not. These people forget that 90 percent of the people being killed in Bangladesh belong to the Dalit community. He questioned why they are silent today, why is their heart not beating. The group taking out the candle march is missing. He said that if we do not want it today, then in the coming times, India may also have to go through a situation like Bangladesh, and some people also want this. If we want to avoid such a situation, then we have to be free from the bondage of caste and creed. We have to strengthen ourselves as a society and a nation.
Indian government expressed concern over violence – CM Dhami
It is known that after the coup in Bangladesh, incidents of violence on minorities have increased. The Government of India has expressed concern over the increasing violent incidents on minorities. The Government of India has contacted the Prime Minister of the interim government of Bangladesh and has urged to ensure the safety of minorities. It is noteworthy that after Mohammad Yunus took oath as the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated him through social media. Along with this, PM Modi raised his voice against the attack on Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh and also urged Mohammad Yunus to ensure their safety.
