Free heli services for local people to Kedarnath Dham will start from today
There is good news for the local people going to Kedarnath Dham. Now free heli services will be provided to the local people to go to Kedarnath. Let us tell you that the district administration is specially operating heli for the movement of local people to Kedarnath Dham.
Kedarnath Yatra will start uninterrupted from 15 September
The journey to Kedarnath Dham was blocked after heavy rains in Kedarghati on 31 July. However, in the meantime, the district administration has worked on a war footing to restart the journey under the guidance of the state government. Now slowly the journey to Kedarnath Dham is coming back on track. It is hoped that the second phase of the journey will start operating uninterruptedly and on a large scale from September 15.
Free heli services for local people to Kedarnath Dham
District Tourism Officer Rahul Choubey said that under the direction of the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami, the district administration is operating a special heli for the movement of local people to Kedarnath Dham. After heavy rains, such traders who were doing their own business in Kedarnath and were rescued and brought back. Free heli service is being started for them from tomorrow.
Appeal to interested local villagers to apply
The District Tourism Officer said that this special heli service will be operated from Himalaya Shersi helipad. He appealed to the interested local villagers and said that those who want to go to Kedarnath for darshan or for their business should provide their complete details along with the documents related to their business to the concerned village head. So that after the necessary formalities, they can be taken to Kedarnath Dham through heli.
