CM Dhami participated in the All India Seminar, said – Sanskrit is the second state language of Uttarakhand, requested the students to spread it to the masses

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday participated in the inaugural session of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Goshthi’ organized by Sanskrit Bharati at Vyas Mandir, Bhupatwala, Haripurkalan, Dehradun. On this occasion, he prayed at Ved Vyas Mandir and wished for peace and happiness in the state.

Welcoming the people from all over the country to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand in the seminar, the Chief Minister said that every member of Sanskrit Bharati is playing an important role in the promotion of Sanskrit language. It is the pride of the state that Devvani Sanskrit is the second official language of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Sanskrit language is a means of expression and also the key to the complete development of man. Human civilizations have developed from Sanskrit language. Rigveda was also written in Sanskrit. Today this language has become a means of expression on a large scale in other fields of literature as well.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is taking several initiatives to preserve and promote Sanskrit language as much as possible. During the assembly session held in Gairsain, the Sanskrit Education Department conducted a Sanskrit conversation camp and motivated all the ministers, MLAs and officers to speak Sanskrit. Under the National Education Policy 2020, Sanskrit schools are being started in the state from class 1 to 5. Efforts are on to write the boards located at all bus stations, railway stations, airports in Sanskrit along with Hindi.

The Chief Minister said that all the Vedas, Puranas and scriptures of the history of Sanatan culture and the Vedic period have been composed in Sanskrit. Sanskrit language is eternal and infinite. He said that from literature to science, from religion to spirituality and from astronomy to surgery, texts related to every field have been written in Sanskrit. Thousands of years ago, Indians had gathered information about the almanac, planets and constellations due to their excellent knowledge.

The Chief Minister said that the number of vowels and consonants in Sanskrit is more than in other languages. Sanskrit is the only language in which the meaning of the sentence does not change due to the words being placed before or after it. He said that the vocabulary of Sanskrit language is also very vast. He said that 1000 names of Lord Vishnu are written in Vishnu Sahasranama, similarly there are Lalita Sahasranama and Shiva Sahasranama. It is possible only in Sanskrit that a name has a thousand synonyms.

The Chief Minister said that many words of many European languages ​​seem to be influenced by Sanskrit. Sanskrit is a very rich, simple and practical language. He said that due to the rule of foreign invaders for many centuries, we have started moving away from Sanskrit language. We have to unite and try to bring our original language Devvani Sanskrit back into the mainstream. He said that this program will definitely leave a positive impact in this direction. He said that Sanskrit Bharati is working to promote Sanskrit in India as well as in many other countries to make Sanskrit a common spoken language again.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
