Uttarakhand: Harak made a big allegation, said- Government is pretending about land law, development is not possible without it

These days, the demand for a strong land law is gaining momentum in Uttarakhand. Now, former cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat has also given a statement in this matter. Harak Singh Rawat said that the BJP government is only pretending about the land law. Harak Singh Rawat believes that the state cannot develop until the land law is implemented in the state.
Harak Singh Rawat said that if the land law made by the ND Tiwari government in 2003 is used with full honesty even today, all the problems would be solved. Harak Singh Rawat said that the BJP government of Uttarakhand will complete 8 years in power in December, but the BJP government has not implemented the 2003 law yet. Harak Singh Rawat said that the 2003 law was brought by the Congress, so it is not implementing this law to take credit. He said that if the BJP government had implemented the law related to land purchase made during the ND Tiwari government, then the demand for land law which is being raised in the entire state today would not have arisen.
Harak Singh Rawat said that while being a cabinet minister in the BJP government, he had put it in the cabinet that the citizens of the state and the citizens living outside are being treated equally. He said that the same rules are applicable for the citizens living in this state as the rules made for the person coming from Delhi and Mumbai. When a citizen of this state wants to build a school, shop, house, hotel on his land, then that person will have to take permission from the state government for the shop, house or hotel being built on his own land. Same rules have been implemented for the person coming here from outside the state and the owner of ancestral land in Uttarakhand.
When he raised this issue while being a cabinet minister, a committee was formed under his chairmanship. That committee recommended that if a person who has his own land in Uttarakhand and is a native of this place, then such a person will not have to go through the process that a person from outside has to go through, but the recommendations of the committee were ignored. The recommendations of the committee related to the interests of the natives of the state have not been implemented till date. Harak Singh Rawat believes that the state cannot develop until the land law is implemented in the state.
