Uttarakhand: Congress has intensified preparations for Kedarnath by-election, Bhuvan Kapri and Virendra Jati have been appointed observers
Although the dates for the Kedarnath assembly by-election have not been announced yet, the Congress party has intensified its preparations for the by-election. In this episode, Uttarakhand Congress state in-charge Kumari Selja has appointed Deputy Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri and Jhabreda MLA Virendra Jati as observers for the Kedarnath by-election.

In a letter written to Congress state president Karan Mahara, Kumari Selja said that in view of the by-election of Kedarnath Assembly 2024 of the state, Deputy Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri and MLA Virendra Jati are appointed as observers. Actually, the Congress party has started a survey regarding the selection of candidates. After the first round of survey, now the second phase of survey has also started.
Congress survey regarding Kedarnath by-election
On the basis of the survey, the Congress party is preparing to field a strong candidate in the Kedarnath assembly. After the survey report comes, the observers appointed by the Congress will take feedback from the common people as well as the workers regarding the selection of the candidate. According to the state president of Congress party Karan Mahara, the internal survey report and the report of the observers will be sent to the top leadership. The state Congress will move forward only after consulting the central leadership.
