Uttarakhand: Demand to include the state in the fifth schedule arose from Haldwani, Pahari Army announced a conference

Now the demand has been raised in Haldwani to include Uttarakhand in the fifth schedule. In Haldwani, Pahadi Army and Ekta Manch have held a press conference and announced to call a conference of intellectuals in Haldwani on 20 October.

Demand raised from Haldwani to include the state in the fifth schedule

Pahari Army founder Harish Rawat said that other hill states have been included in the fifth schedule, due to which the land law and native place are implemented there. He said that if Uttarakhand is also included in the fifth schedule in the same way, then the problems of land law and native place will end in the state. This will also give reservation in jobs and full rights to the local people.

Conference to be held on 20 October

Pahari Army founder Harish Rawat said that people from all sections have been invited to this conference to be held on 20 October, so that they can take forward this movement to include the state in the fifth schedule. The organisers have resolved to raise public awareness and garner support on the issue so that the movement for inclusion in the Fifth Schedule can be taken forward.
