On receiving complaints of sale of fake medicines in Roorkee, Drug Inspector Anita Bharti conducted a surprise raid on various medical stores in Roorkee city. Although banned medicines were not found during the raid. But many irregularities were found in the medical stores. Strict action was taken on them and some stores were locked.

Complaints were being received about sale of fake medicines

Drug Inspector Anita Bharti said that she was constantly receiving complaints about the sale of fake and substandard medicines in the city. On the basis of these complaints, she conducted a surprise inspection. In which dirt and lack of cleanliness were found at some stores. She clarified that cleanliness of places selling medicines is very important. Because this is a matter directly related to the health of the people. Many medical stores were immediately locked after dirt was found and the operators were warned to improve cleanliness.

Playing with people’s health will not be tolerated

Drugs Inspector Anita Bharti said that negligence was being shown in the maintenance of medicines at many stores. There was dirt and disorder at the places where medicines were kept. Due to which strict instructions were given to the store operators. Anita Bharti said that playing with people’s health will not be tolerated.

It is mandatory to follow the cleanliness and rules of medical stores. This raid campaign will continue in the same way so that there is no irregularity in the quality and sale of medicines. The drug inspector warned that such raids will continue in the future as well. If any store owner is found violating the rules, strict action will be taken against them.
