Uttarakhand / Nainital: Teacher molested a 12th class student, threatened the victim if she complained

A case that puts the relationship between a teacher and a student to shame has come to light from Bindukhatta in Nainital. A teacher molested a 12th standard student in the school. When the victim’s family reached the school after complaining to the family, the teacher went to the student’s house and started threatening the girl and her mother. On the complaint of the family, the police has started investigating the case.

Teacher molested the student
According to the information received, a resident of Bindukhatta has given a complaint to the police. In the complaint, he told that his daughter is a 12th standard student in a government inter college in Shastri Nagar. On October 8, a teacher tried to touch his daughter inappropriately in the biolab. After coming home, the student informed her aunt about it.

Victim was threatened for complaining
On October 10, the student’s aunt reached the school to complain about it. But that day the said teacher was on leave. It is alleged that on October 11, the accused teacher reached the victim’s house with another teacher. Where the accused threatened the student and her mother.

Police engaged in investigation
The girl’s father has given a complaint to the police. After which the police has started investigating the case. It is being told that the accused has done obscene acts with other girl students of the school in the past as well. According to Bindukhatta outpost in-charge Somendra Singh, the investigation of the case is going on. After the allegations are proved right, strict action will be taken against the accused.
