Stock market trades with gains, Sensex jumps 500 points, Nifty also jumps

The stock market started trading with a boom on Monday, the first trading day of the week. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a jump of about 200 points from its previous close and climbed more than 500 points in no time. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also started strongly and ran more than 180 points. Amidst the boom in the market, other stocks including HDFC Bank Share gained tremendously.

First of all, let’s talk about the BSE Sensex, it opened at the level of 81,576.93 on Monday as compared to the level of 81,381.26 on Friday, the previous trading day. After a strong start, it kept increasing and till the time of writing the news at 10 am, it was trading at the level of 81,919.50 with a gain of 538.55 points or 0.66 percent.

Nifty took a long leap
Like the BSE Sensex, NSE Nifty also opened above 25,000. Nifty started the trading at 25,023.45 level, jumping from its previous close of 24,964 and within a short time it jumped by more than 180 points to reach 25,131.95 level. However, during the trading it broke down to 25,017 level.
