The interlocking road built six months ago in Mangalore’s Green Park Colony has started getting damaged at various places. Due to which there is anger among the local people. The villagers have accused the municipal officials of negligence.

The interlocking road built six months ago in Mangalore’s Green Park Colony has collapsed at various places. The local people accused the municipal officials and said that when the road was being constructed, no officer of Mangalore Municipality came to see the quality of the road.
The villagers demanded to build the road again
The villagers said that the contractor did his arbitrariness and did not build the road as per the standards. Due to which the road got damaged in a few months. After which the villagers have rebuilt the road at many places by spending money from their own pockets. But the villagers are now demanding to build the road again.
The Executive Officer assured of action
At the same time, the newly appointed Executive Officer of Mangalore Municipal Council, Noshad Haseen, says that the matter is before he took charge. Nevertheless, he will take information about the matter from the concerned employees and take action.
