Uttar Pradesh: Accused of raping a female head constable arrested in Kanpur, had raped a policewoman going home on Karva Chauth

In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a woman head constable who was coming home to celebrate Karva Chauth was raped. The police have arrested the accused. Actually, the whole matter is of Sen Paschim Para police station area. The woman head constable was coming from Ayodhya to her in-laws’ house in Kanpur to celebrate Karva Chauth. An accused from the same village took advantage of the darkness and raped her. While resisting the accused, one of the female police personnel’s teeth also broke in the fight. The victim informed the police about this, after which the accused has been caught.
Let us tell you that when the accused was trying to rape the victim, the woman head constable opposed him with full force. During this, the accused beat her, due to which one of the woman’s teeth broke. To save herself, the woman bit the accused’s finger and started shouting. Seeing people coming towards him on the victim’s noise, the accused fled from the spot. Regarding the whole incident, ADCP Kanpur South Manoj Kumar Pandey said that the victim is posted in Ayodhya district as a head constable in UP Police. She was going to her village Budhera in plain clothes. It was night time and a person named Kallu alias Dharmendra, a resident of the victim’s village, took advantage of the situation and committed the crime of rape.
He further said that on receiving the information, the local police station and ACP immediately reached the spot. The accused was arrested after conducting a search operation. The accused was produced before the court and sent to jail after taking his remand.
