Uttarakhand: CM Dhami inaugurated the Saras Mela, observed the stalls set up by self-help groups, took information about the products

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Saras Mela – 2024 organized at Rangers Ground Dehradun yesterday. He also visited the stalls set up by self-help groups across the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the women and inquired about their products. The Chief Minister appreciated the cake made of Ragi made by the women. He also made payment through online medium by purchasing diyas made by the self-help group.

The Chief Minister said that the Vocal for Local campaign was started by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to empower our local products. This fair is also an important link towards realizing this campaign. At the same time, Lakhpati Didi Farzana Khan requested to open outlets at every block level during the talks with the Chief Minister. After which the Chief Minister directed Commissioner Rural Development Dhiraj Garbyal to get the test done for opening outlets at every possible place in every district. The Chief Minister said that I promise my sisters that they will be helped in every possible way.
