Uttarakhand: The Natives’ Committee got angry over the approval of the slum ordinance and warned of agitation

Dhami cabinet has once again approved to bring an ordinance for slums in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday. Uttarakhand government will bring an ordinance for slums for three years. After this decision of the cabinet, politics has started heating up in the state. At the same time, the Mool Niwas-Bhoo Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti has also come out in protest against it.

Mool Niwas-Bhoo Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti convenor Mohit Dimri said that by bringing an ordinance to regulate illegal settlements in Uttarakhand, the government is conspiring to give ownership rights of the land to the people settled in Uttarakhand by illegally occupying the land by coming from other states in these settlements. Dimri said that we strongly oppose this ordinance of the Uttarakhand government.

The committee warned of agitation
Committee convenor Mohit Dimri said that there should be no vote bank politics in the state. Due to this, the demography of Uttarakhand is changing. Dimri said that if the Dhami government does not withdraw its decision, then in the coming time we will be forced to agitate.
