The incident happened on Monday. The police was trying to suppress the matter after the complaint. It is being told that the accused tied the husband to a tree and gang-raped the wife. Both had gone for a walk near the Bhairavnath temple. After the incident came to light, the politics of the state has heated up. Congress has made serious allegations.
Threat to make the video viral
Actually, the newlyweds had gone to the Bhairavnath temple for a picnic, suddenly the accused, who reached there in the number of five, tied the husband to a tree. After this, they committed the crime of brutality with the wife. Along with this, a video of the victim was also made and threatened to be made viral. The police have rounded up several suspects in this case and are interrogating them. So far two suspects have been arrested.
Both were married this year
According to the information, the newlyweds, who were studying in college, were married this year. He had gone to Bhairavnath temple under Gudh police station area for picnic. Suddenly five accused arrived and first beat up the husband. After this, they tied him to a tree and committed gang rape in front of him.
On the other hand, Rewa SP Vivek Singh has said that seven-eight accused are suspected to be involved in this incident. The victim has named five people. All the accused were partying on the spot. Litti, meat and liquor bottles have been found from there. The accused are from Rewa district itself. He said that the case was registered on October 22. The victim did not come due to fear. The incident happened on October 21 at 2 pm.
Congress made allegations
It is being told that the police is suppressing this matter after receiving the complaint. The accused have not been identified yet. It is being said that there was an industry conclave in Rewa. Big industrialists of the country including the CM were to reach there. This would have affected the image of the state. Therefore, the police did not let the matter come to light.
At the same time, former working president of Mahila Congress, Kavita Pandey, has accused the police and said that due to Rewa Vindhya Investor Summit, the police had suppressed the matter. The head of the state was enjoying delicacies here with industrialists. Meanwhile, the girl was wandering from door to door for justice.
