All departments of Uttarakhand will compulsorily buy the products of House of Himalayas, CS wrote a letter

On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, all the departments and offices of the Uttarakhand government will now buy the products of House of Himalayas for their meetings and events. CM Dhami said that inspired by PM Modi’s Vocal for Local mantra, the government is encouraging the House of Himalayas brand.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the quality products of the House of Himalayas brand are also available as gift packs for big occasions like Diwali. All the state residents can contribute to increasing the livelihood of rural entrepreneurs of their state by buying these products. The CM said that House of Himalayas is a common brand of products made by women self-help groups, farmers and rural entrepreneurs of Uttarakhand. Secretary Radhika Jha told in this regard that the House of Himalayas brand, operated under the Rural Development Department, has been successful in making a mark in a short time for its quality. House of Himalayas products are also available on e-commerce portal. On Wednesday, the Chief Secretary wrote a letter to all the department and office heads asking them to buy House of Himalayas products on priority basis on the occasion of various departmental and office meetings, programs, celebrations and major festivals like Holi, Diwali. This is expected to boost the economy of rural areas.
