Fear of Iran attack! Israeli PM Netanyahu’s son postpones wedding, family is scared after drone strike
The wedding of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Avner Netanyahu has been postponed due to security reasons. This decision has been taken at a time when Iran has threatened to give a befitting reply to the Israeli attack. According to Israeli media outlet Ynet, Avner Netanyahu gave this information on Monday and said that he and his partner Amit Yardeni have decided to postpone their marriage till summer. Both were going to get married on 26 November. Both have been dating each other for two years.
The wedding date was extended earlier also
Netanyahu’s son and his girlfriend had postponed the wedding dates once before. Earlier both were going to get married in September, which was extended to 26 November. Now it is expected that it will happen in mid-June 2025. Last month, Hezbollah’s drone targeted Netanyahu’s private residence located in the Caesarea coastal area, after which concerns have increased about the Prime Minister’s security.
Netanyahu did not want to get married now
Israeli security agencies have stepped up efforts to find a location that is safe from attack. Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office has not yet commented on this. Last week, Israeli media reports said that Benjamin Netanyahu wanted to postpone his son’s wedding due to security concerns amid the war on many fronts and drone threats.
According to Israel’s KAN public broadcaster, Avner Netanyahu’s wedding was planned to take place on November 26 at the Ronit farm in the Sharon region, north of Tel Aviv. However, PM Netanyahu expressed concern to his aides that holding the event could pose a risk to the participants.
