According to information received from the police, a person named Amir son of Abdul Rehman had posted the picture of the accident along with a song on social media, mocking the road accident that took place in Marchula, Almora on Monday. As soon as this viral post reached the police team, the police took cognizance of the post and started searching for the Facebook user.
Anger against the accused in the area
The police arrested Amir son of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Thalisain Hall, on Tuesday on charges of trying to disturb communal harmony.
