Uttarakhand: Businessman’s wife fired in the air on Diwali, police registered a case
The wife of a reputed businessman of Rudrapur city of Udham Singh Nagar had to pay a heavy price for firing in the air with her licensed pistol on Diwali. Taking cognizance of the video of firing that went viral on social media, the police have registered a case against the businessman’s wife.

According to the information received from the police, a video of Anchal Dhingra, wife of Abhimanyu Dhingra, owner of Guru Maa Enterprises, went viral on Instagram, in which she was seen firing in the air with a licensed pistol at Kartarpur Farm House in Gadarpur police station area on the occasion of Diwali on the night of October 31.
Police registered a case
Taking cognizance of the video, the Kotwali police started investigating the matter. The police registered a case against the businessman’s wife Anchal Dhingra under the relevant sections. Giving information about the case, Kotwal Manoj Raturi said that action is being taken to cancel the license used in the firing.
