Uttarakhand: Bobby Pawar Meenakshi Sundaram dispute, internal rift of the union visible in work boycott, out of more than 1200 employees only 150 employees reached the protest site, CS issued strict orders

The Secretariat Union has come out for agitation on the misbehavior with IAS officer Meenakshi Sundaram, under which, on the call of Uttarakhand Secretariat Union, work was boycotted for half a day in the Secretariat today. The surprising thing is that in the Secretariat which has more than 1200 employees, only 100-150 employees reached the protest site. The rest of the employees either remained in their offices or kept on doing work outside the Secretariat. The officers of Uttarakhand Secretariat Union also appeared worried about the very low number of Secretariat employees. This thing was repeated again and again in the general meeting of the Union.

This fight of the Secretariat Union which started with getting justice for IAS Meenakshi Sundaram and her staff, appeared to be limited to mutual disputes. Sometimes some employees were seen making comments on each other by holding the mic on the stage, while some employees started giving statements against the employees who did not come to the general meeting. Not only this, the employees were also seen roaring on the mic on some other issues in the general meeting.

During the general meeting, IAS officer Meenakshi Sundaram, senior private secretary Kapil Kumar and his other staff also put forth their views and gave full information about the incident to the employees. During this, some employees kept offering to take a big step in the future with an aggressive attitude. At the same time, the attitude of the officials of the Uttarakhand Secretariat Association appeared to be in a wait and watch situation. However, after this, the Secretariat Association also submitted a demand letter to Chief Secretary Radha Raturi.

By evening, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi issued an order for the secretariat employees. In this order, the Chief Secretary advised the secretariat employees to come to the secretariat only with their identity cards. Although the secretariat employees have been given identity cards so that they come to the secretariat with identity cards, but the surprising thing is that the Chief Secretary has to repeatedly order the secretariat employees to inform them about this general rule. The Uttarakhand Secretariat Association has demanded strict action against Bobby Pawar and has also warned to take the movement forward in the future if this is not done.
