Uttarakhand: State Foundation Day was celebrated with simplicity in the summer capital Gairsain (BharadiSain)

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program organized at the Vidhan Sabha premises Bharadisain, Gairsain (Chamoli) on the occasion of State Foundation Day. During this, he extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the completion of 24 years of the formation of the state of Uttarakhand and the commencement of the silver jubilee year.
A ceremonial parade was organized in the Vidhan Sabha premises by the Police and NCC jawans on the State Foundation Day at the Vidhan Sabha premises Bharadisain. On the occasion of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day, various departments set up multipurpose camps and stalls were set up for the exhibition of various products. In which development oriented and welfare schemes were displayed. The Chief Minister also inspected the stalls set up by the departments. During this, the Chief Minister also honored 47 state agitators by presenting them with garlands and shawls.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the country and all the immortal martyrs of the state formation and honored all the state agitators by paying respectful obeisance to them. He also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who laid a strong foundation of Uttarakhand, on behalf of the people of the state. On the occasion of Silver Jubilee, the Chief Minister also announced from the Vidhan Sabha premises Bharadisain to make the Women Base Hospital in Simli a full-fledged base hospital and to start science classes in R.I.’s Agarchatti.
In his address, the Chief Minister said that the state of Uttarakhand is entering the Silver Jubilee year. In these 24 years, the state is progressing rapidly in every field with the cooperation of the public. To make this decade the decade of Uttarakhand, the state government is working on short-term, short-term and long-term plans in every field with public participation. The Chief Minister said that today Uttarakhand is among the leading states of the country in many fields. Uttarakhand has got the first place in the country in the ranking of Sustainable Development Goals released by NITI Aayog. The state has received the category of Achievers in Ease of Doing Business and Leaders in Startup. He said that there has been an increase of 33 percent in GSDP. Uttarakhand has also become a leading state in providing employment to the youth. The unemployment rate has been reduced by 4.4 percent in one year. Regarding the organization of the National Games, the Chief Minister said that this is a big opportunity for Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the third decade of the 21st century would be the decade of Uttarakhand. In accordance with his expectations, the state is rapidly moving on the path of development. Uttarakhand has secured the first position in the country in the Index of Sustainable Development Goals for the year 2023-24. The state has received the category of Achievers in Ease of Doing Business and Leaders in Startup Ranking.
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the grand and divine reconstruction work of Kedarnath Dham has been done rapidly. Development work is in progress under the master plan of Badrinath Dham. Similarly, under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission, 16 mythological temple areas are being developed in the first phase. Work is going on rapidly on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project. Soon the dream of rail in the mountains is going to be realized. The Chief Minister said that the Chief Minister’s Border Area Development Scheme has been started for the border areas. The border villages of Uttarakhand are being developed through the Vibrant Village Scheme.
The Chief Minister said that the future of lakhs of youth of the state has been secured by implementing the country’s most stringent anti-copying law in Uttarakhand. In the last 03 years, about 18 thousand 500 recruitments have been made in government services. Many important steps have been taken to effectively control corruption in the state.
The Chief Minister said that respecting the mother power, the state government has decided to reserve 30 percent reservation for women in government jobs as well as 33 percent posts for women of the state in cooperative societies. Many schemes including Chief Minister Nari Empowerment Scheme, Lakhpati Didi Scheme and Chief Minister Aanchal Amrit Scheme are making women empowered and self-reliant.
The Chief Minister said that to maintain the original form of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, a strict law has been made against forced conversion in the state. Now a law has been implemented in the state to compensate for all the losses from the rioters who riot. A continuous campaign is being run to free the land of the state from encroachment. About 5 thousand acres of government land in the state has been freed from illegal occupation.
The Chief Minister said that it is our resolve that by the silver jubilee year 2025, Uttarakhand should be successful in making its mark as the leading state of the country. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand is developing in all directions and we are moving towards becoming the best state of India. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also prayed to God for peace to the souls of the deceased in the Marchula bus accident of Almora and speedy recovery of the injured.
On this occasion, Karnaprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for rapidly advancing the development works of the area and said that under the able leadership of the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state of Uttarakhand is today continuously moving towards development in all areas including health, education. He also wished the people of the state on State Foundation Day.
