Gujarat: Gave samadhi to the car, fed food to 1,500 people, spent lakhs on the funeral

Such a sight was seen in a village in Amreli district of Gujarat, which left everyone surprised. When the time period of their lucky car was over, the people of this village buried it with full rituals. To remember that car forever, the family members organized a grand program. Before burying the car, the family performed a proper puja. After decorating it with flowers, placing a coconut on its upper part and putting a green cover on it, the family members bid farewell to the car by performing puja and showering rose petals amidst chanting of mantras by the priests. Also, Rs 5 lakh were spent on the entire funeral work.

Food served to about 1,500 people in the village

In the presence of local saints and religious leaders, food was served to about 1,500 people in the village. A special invitation letter was sent to the people for this unique event. It was written in the letter that this car has become a member of our family and has been very fortunate for us. We want to keep it in our memories forever, so we are giving it a respectful burial.

The car was lucky for the family

Let us tell you that Sanjay Polra, a farmer of Padrashinga village in Lathi taluka of Gujarat, bought this car in 2006. He says that this car was lucky for his family. This car not only improved the financial condition of his family but also increased his respect in the society. Therefore, he bid it farewell with special respect. The family members worshiped their gods and goddesses and then took the car decorated with flowers in a procession to the burial place located in his field. His family members were very emotional at the time of burial.

Flowers will be offered at the burial place every year

Sanjay Polra said that he was very emotional at that time. He said that we have thought that it should be respected in a special way and that is why we decided to give it a burial. Every year on November 7, he will offer flowers at this burial place and plant trees around it.
