Uttarakhand: Routes will remain diverted in Haldwani till November 17, police has prepared a diversion plan

Routes will remain diverted in Haldwani city from 14 to 17 November. Police has prepared a diversion plan in view of Kartik Purnima bath and weekend. Take a look at the diversion plan before leaving home.

Routes will remain diverted in Haldwani till 17 November

The traffic plan will be effective for all tourists and drivers going from Haldwani city towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham and Almora.

This is the diversion plan

  • All vehicles going from Bareilly Road towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham, Almora will be diverted from Teenpani Tiraha and will go to their destination via Gola Bypass via Nariman Tiraha.
  • Vehicles going from Rampur Road towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham, Almora will be diverted from Sheetal Hotel Tiraha and will go to their destination via Teenpani Bypass Tiraha and Gola Bypass Road via Nariman Tiraha. In case of excessive pressure of vehicles on the travel route, vehicles going towards Nainital will be diverted from Panchayatghar Tiraha and will go to their destination via RTO Road, Hanuman Mandir Tiraha, Kamaluwaganja and Kaladhungi.
  • Vehicles going towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchidham, Almora from Kaladhungi Road will be diverted from Unchapul, Laldot Tiraha and will go to their destination via Hydel, Call Tax Tiraha and Nariman Tiraha.
  • Vehicles coming from the mountainous region towards Haldwani will be diverted from Nariman Tiraha to Gola Bypass and Call Tax, Hydel Tiraha and will go to their destination via Panchakkki.
  • Vehicles going to the mountainous region from Ramnagar, Bajpur via Kaladhungi will go to their destination via Nainital Tiraha Kaladhungi and Russian Forest.
  • During Kartik Purnima bath and weekend from 14th November to 17th November, if there is traffic pressure in the Yatra route, entry of heavy vehicles will be completely prohibited from 10 am to 10 pm. Heavy vehicles carrying essential services (such as vegetables, fruits, fuel, gas, milk) should complete their services by 12 noon. Movement of essential service vehicles will also be prohibited on the Yatra route from 12 noon to 10 pm.
  • If there is heavy traffic pressure in Kathgodam area, vehicles coming from Nainital towards Haldwani city from 4 o’clock will go to their destination from Russian Bypass II via Russian Bypass I via Kaladhungi. On the other hand, vehicles coming from Almora, Ranikhet and Kainchi Dham towards Haldwani city will be diverted from Bhawali and will go to their destination from Masjid Tiraha via Number One Band via Russian Bypass II via Russian Bypass I via Kaladhungi.
