The chain of destruction continues in the stock market, Sensex closed with a decline of 984 and Nifty with a decline of 324
The series of devastation that started in the stock market about one and a half months ago continues. On Wednesday, the BSE Sensex closed at 77,690.95 points with a fall of 984.23 points. In this way, the NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 23,559.05 points with a fall of 324.40 points.
Shares of 26 out of 30 companies closed in the red mark with loss and only 4 companies closed in the green mark with a rise. On the other hand, 44 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 also closed in the red mark with a fall and only 6 companies closed in the green mark.
Biggest decline in these companies
Among the Sensex companies, the shares of Mahindra & Mahindra recorded the highest decline of 3.23 percent today. Shares of Tata Steel closed down by 3.02 percent, Adani Ports by 2.8 percent, JSW Steel by 2.18 percent, IndusInd Bank by 1.89 percent, Reliance Industries by 1.73 percent, HDFC Bank by 1.67 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank by 1.67 percent, State Bank of India by 1.63 percent, Bajaj Finserv by 1.58 percent, Axis Bank by 1.35 percent, Larsen & Toubro by 1.27 percent, PowerGrid by 1.18 percent, Sun Pharma by 1.16 percent, TCS shares closed down by 1.13 percent.
Shares of these companies closed in the green
Shares of Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finance, Maruti Suzuki, Titan, HCL Tech, Bharti Airtel, ITC and Hindustan Unilever also declined. However, Tata Motors shares closed with a gain of 0.29 per cent, NTPC shares 0.21 per cent, Asian Paints shares 0.16 per cent and Infosys shares 0.01 per cent.
