Uttarakhand: A smuggler arrested with 672 grams of hashish
Under the leadership of Champawat SP Ajay Ganpati, the police campaign against drugs is going on in the district. During checking under Operation Crackdown, the police have arrested a smuggler with 672 grams of hashish.
A smuggler arrested with 72 grams of hashish
Lohaghat Police was conducting a checking campaign near Devradi Band on Monday night under the leadership of SHO Ashok Kumar. During this, the police saw a young man coming on a KTM. When the police stopped the youth and searched him, 672.5 grams of illegal hashish was recovered from the accused.
The accused was sent to jail
SHO Ashok Kumar informed that the accused Arun Prakash Vishwakarma, resident of Laxman Ram, resident of Tanakpur, has been arrested and sent to jail after registering a case under the NDPS Act and presenting him in the court. The campaign against smugglers will continue in the future as well.
