40 thousand street vendors in Uttarakhand got loan without guarantee, they will be able to do business without hesitation and support their families with PM Swanidhi

The Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi Yojana is proving to be a boon for thousands of small businessmen who make their livelihood by putting up a roadside cart, cart or phad in Uttarakhand. Under this scheme, more than 40 thousand small traders in Uttarakhand have been given loans for business. The Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme was started to connect the small businessmen affected during the Corona period with self-employment again.
The second loan is being given on returning the first loan on time
The Urban Development Department in Uttarakhand is working as the nodal department for this scheme. Under the scheme, loans are being made available to small businessmen without any guarantee. Under this, a loan of 10 thousand rupees is being given in the first phase, 20 thousand in the second phase and 50 thousand rupees in the third phase. Under this scheme, a provision has been made to give a loan to the beneficiary for the second time only after returning the loan taken for the first time on time. Similarly, on repaying the second loan, street vendors are provided a loan in the third phase.
Uttarakhand has given a loan of Rs 59.64 crore to 40,043 people
Under the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PM Swanidhi) scheme, 27,330 beneficiaries in Uttarakhand have been provided a loan of Rs 10,000 each under the first phase, 10,349 beneficiaries Rs 20,000 each under the second phase and 2364 beneficiaries Rs 50,000 each under the third phase. As against the target of 40,005 beneficiaries given to Uttarakhand by the Government of India, so far Uttarakhand has given a total loan of Rs 59.64 crore by connecting 40,043 people to the scheme.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central and state governments prepare policies with the spirit of Antyodaya. Similarly, PM Swanidhi Yojana has been launched to help small businessmen, the results of which have been positive. More people have been benefited under this scheme than the target given by the Government of India.
