Anand Prakash Badola of Uttarakhand’s Pauri became Additional Director General of Coast Guard

Pauri district has given many brave warriors to the country, who are serving the country with full honesty. Anand Prakash Badola, a resident of Pauri, has become the Additional Director General of the Coast Guard. After which there is a wave of happiness among the people of the area.
Anand Prakash Badola, a resident of Pathol village of Pauri district, has been made the Additional Director General of the Coast Guard. Anand Prakash was also awarded the President’s Coast Guard Award for Distinguished Service on 26 January last year. At the same time, in the year 2021 also, in the decoration ceremony held at the Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi, he was awarded the President’s Coast Guard Medal for meritorious service by the Defense Minister. On the basis of hard work, Anand Prakash was entrusted with important responsibilities as well as honored. At the same time, now he has been given the responsibility of Additional Director General of the Coast Guard.
Anand Prakash Badola did his studies from Dehradun Vikas Nagar and SGRR College Dehradun. He joined the Indian Coast Guard in the year 1990. Anand Prakash served as Chief of Staff at the headquarters of the Coast Guard Eastern and Western Coasts when he was promoted to flag rank in the year 2017. From the year 2019 to June 2021, he has been posted as Commander Coast Guard Region (West) in Mumbai. From 11 June 2021 to 20 November, he took command of Commander Coast Guard Region (East) in Chennai. Badola, who was working as Deputy Director General (Policy and Planning) at the Coast Guard Headquarters, commanded ships in various categories besides the Coast Guard Commander of the Eastern and Western Regions during his tenure of 35 years. Now he has been given the responsibility of Additional Director General of the Coast Guard, due to which the people of the district are happy.
