Uttar Pradesh: Clashes during Mirapur by-election in Muzaffarnagar, SSP reached the spot with heavy police force
During the by-election in Meerapur assembly constituency, an incident of clash came to light in village Kakaroli of police station Kakaroli on 20 November 2024. Information was received that some people were creating ruckus, after which the police immediately reached the spot.
According to the police, the dispute between the two parties turned into a clash. The police tried to calm the situation, but some anti-social elements started pelting stones at the police. In response, the police used mild force and removed the rioters from there.
Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh said that during the Meerapur by-election in Muzaffarnagar, an information was received here that some people have created a ruckus near village Kakaroli in police station Kakaroli. The force immediately reached the spot. There was a clash between the two parties. The police used force there and removed everyone from there. Peace and order is maintained at the spot and voting is going on properly.
