Inflation shock, CNG becomes more expensive than petrol; burden on pocket will increase this much
The burden on the pockets of CNG vehicle owners has increased. Green Gas Limited has increased the price of CNG. Now it will be available at Rs 96.75 per kg. Its price has become higher than petrol. The price of petrol is Rs 94.81 per liter.
Green Gas Limited’s marketing manager Kishan Singh said that the price of CNG has increased in Agra and Lucknow. Earlier the price was Rs 94 per kg, now it has become Rs 96.75 per kg. The reason for this is the reduction in subsidy received from the government.
Talking about Agra, there are 30 CNG pumps here and one lakh kg of CNG is consumed daily. The increased rate of CNG has come into effect from 6 am on Thursday.
