Uttarakhand: On Constitution Day, the Chief Secretary administered the oath of the Constitution to the officials, also reiterated the preamble of the Constitution
On the occasion of Constitution Day, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi administered the oath of the Constitution to the officers and employees at the Secretariat by repeating the Preamble of the Constitution. On this occasion, Director General of Police Deepam Seth, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, ADG AP Anshuman, IG KS Nagnyal, Secretary Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Deependra Chaudhary, Dr. R Rajesh Kumar, District Magistrate Dehradun Savin Bansal, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh, Additional Secretary Sonika and other officers and employees were present.

Today i.e. on 26th November, the whole country is celebrating Constitution Day. Every year in India, this day is celebrated as Constitution Day. At the same time, on this occasion, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state.
CM Dhami tweeted on Twitter and wrote, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on Constitution Day. Our country is the largest democratic country in the world and our Constitution is the soul of this democracy. This Constitution not only gives us information about our rights, but also inspires us to discharge our duties.” At the same time, he further said that “On the occasion of Constitution Day, let us all take a pledge to be aware and vigilant about our rights and duties.”
Let us tell you that Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November in India. On this day, the Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is remembered. In the year 1949, on 26 November i.e. today, the Constitution of India was ready. After this, the Constitution of India was implemented from 26 January 1950. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar prepared the Constitution in two years, 11 months and 18 days and dedicated it to the nation. India’s Constitution is the largest in the world.
