Lohaghat depot gets 12 new buses

All the employees of Lohaghat depot of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation organized a felicitation ceremony on Sunday at the Roadways office Lohaghat under the chairmanship of Assistant General Manager Dhirendra Verma and under the direction of Suraj Bhan. Lohaghat MLA Khushal Singh Adhikari was thanked for getting 12 new buses to Lohaghat depot and was felicitated by waving a sal.

Roadways employees thanked the MLA

Assistant General Manager Verma said that today Lohaghat depot has got new buses due to the efforts of MLA Adhikari. During this, Roadways employees gave a memorandum to MLA Adhikari regarding their various problems. In the memorandum, the employees said that for years the Roadways office is running in a tin shed in the middle of Deodar Bani. Due to which there is danger to the Roadways employees all the time. He demanded from MLA Adhikari to construct a permanent office building and some more new buses and passenger sheds, construction of toilets and removal of shortage of spare parts in the workshop and deployment of technical staff.

Thanked CM Dhami for new buses

Roadways employees demanded early appointment of the dependents of the deceased. MLA Khushal Singh Adhikari first of all thanked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for giving new buses to the depot. MLA Adhikari announced the construction of a passenger shed within a week.

He said that a demand would be made to the Chief Minister to give 8 new buses and solve the problems of the roadways employees. So that the rural areas can also get the benefit of the services of the Transport Corporation. During this, MLA Adhikari ordered the Divisional Manager of Roadways not to tamper with the arrangements of the depot.
