On Sunday, a bloody fight broke out between two adult male elephants in the reserved forest area of Paniyali Beat under Kotdwar range of Lansdowne Forest Division. During this, one elephant died.
The body of the dead elephant was sent for postmortem
Giving information about the matter, DFO of Forest Department Akash Gangwar said that one elephant died in a bloody fight between two elephants. The forest department team has taken the body of the dead elephant into its custody and sent it for postmortem.
