Uttarakhand: Deepam Seth took charge, new DGP paid a courtesy visit to Chief Secretary
IPS officer Deepam Seth has taken over as the new Director General of Police of Uttarakhand. After which the new DGP reached to meet Chief Secretary Radha Raturi.
Deepam Seth took charge
Deepam Seth has become the new DGP of Uttarakhand. He took charge on Monday. Currently Deepam Seth is the most senior police officer of Uttarakhand. Deepam Seth has become the 13th Director General of Police in Uttarakhand Police.
Let us tell you that he is a 1995 batch IPS officer of Uttarakhand cadre. Before being made Director General, he was on deputation. Deepam Seth was on central deputation since the year 2019. He was taken back even before the completion of the deputation period. He worked on deputation in SSB for about six years. After which he has been made DGP.
Chief Secretary made a courtesy call on the new DGP
Newly appointed Director General of Police Deepam Seth made a courtesy call on Chief Secretary Radha Raturi at the Secretariat. Let us tell you that at present Deepam Seth is the most senior police officer of Uttarakhand. Let us tell you that Dr. Deepam Seth was born in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He received his primary education from here. After this, he studied engineering from BITS Pilani and joined the Indian Police Service in 1995.
