Uttarakhand: BJP MLA Munna Singh Chauhan watched the state’s first Jaunsari film ‘Mere Gaon Ki Baat’ and appealed to the government to make it tax free
The first Jaunsari feature film Mere Gaon Ki Baat is getting a lot of love in cinema halls. Today, BJP MLA from Vikasnagar Munna Singh Chauhan also came to watch this film. During this, the MLA said that the state government is giving full support in the production and promotion of regional films to promote regional culture. Chauhan said that it is a pleasure to have made the first Jaunsari feature film after the formation of the state. He also praised the actors of the film and demanded the government to make this film tax free.
He said that through this film, there will be an opportunity to see and know the rich culture, heritage, customs of Jaunsar. He appealed to the audience to watch the film and said that the state government is giving every possible help in the production and promotion of films made in regional dialects so that the local people of Uttarakhand can move forward in the field of film production.
