Uttarakhand: Garhwal MP Anil Baluni reached Veer Bhoomi Savaad village, inaugurated Amar Shaheed fair, made big announcements

Garhwal MP Anil Baluni reached Savad village of Dewal development block. Here Anil Baluni inaugurated the 17th Amar Shaheed Mela. During this, MP Baluni reached the military memorial and paid tribute to the Amar Shaheeds. After this, the Amar Shaheed Mela was inaugurated by lighting a lamp. Amar Shaheed Mela President Alam Singh Bisht welcomed the Garhwal MP and demanded that the Amar Shaheed Mela be declared a state fair. Along with this, he demanded the adoption of Savad village as well as the operation of Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Garhwal MP Anil Baluni said Savad is the land of heroes. The way the brave soldiers here have shown their valor from the First World War to the freedom struggle is commendable. MP Baluni assured the people of Savad that the problem of Savad is now Anil Baluni’s problem. He said that the operation of Kendriya Vidyalaya will be started in Savad as soon as possible. Along with this, MP Baluni announced Rs 10 lakh for the expansion of the museum in Savad. Tharali MLA Bhupalram Tamta announced Rs 2 lakh for organizing the fair.
Let us tell you that 22 soldiers from Savad village, known as Veer Bhoomi, participated in the First World War. Out of which two soldiers were martyred in the First World War. Whereas 38 soldiers participated in the Second World War, 14 in Peshawar incident, 17 in the freedom struggle, 28 in India Bangladesh war, 15 soldiers in Operation Blue Star. 85 ex-soldiers and 43 brave women in Savad village make the history of Savad glorious.
