Uttarakhand: CM Dhami participated in various programs organized by villagers and local residents in Sari village of Rudraprayag

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in various programs organized by the villagers and local residents in Sari village of Rudraprayag district. During the meeting with the villagers and local residents, the Chief Minister took feedback of various public welfare schemes related to the development of the area. The Chief Minister also visited the stalls set up by various departments in Sari village. He also performed Jhumela dance with the women. The Chief Minister also had dinner with the Sari villagers.
The Chief Minister announced to give Rs 1 lakh for Mahila Mangal Dal on this occasion. The Chief Minister said that the Culture Department will definitely recognize the fair to be held in Deoria Tal as a state fair.
Addressing the program organized in Sari, the Chief Minister said that he is feeling very happy to be among everyone today. He said that the program which has started in Sari village will now run in the entire state. The Chief Minister thanked everyone for making Mrs. Asha Nautiyal victorious. He said that now it is the turn of the government to fulfill the promises they made before the elections. All the proposals, announcements and public welfare works of this area will be implemented. He said that the suggestions of the public will be worked upon on priority basis.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a deep attachment to Uttarakhand and especially to the land of Baba Kedarnath. Uttarakhand resides in the heart of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has taken forward many schemes in this area. After the disaster of 2013, Prime Minister Modi took the task of rebuilding the Lord Kedarnath temple in his hands. Today Lord Kedarnath Dham is becoming grand and divine. The Chief Minister said that he himself took the responsibility of the Kedarnath area before the by-election and he is determined to develop the area in the future as well.
The Chief Minister said that during the disaster in Kedarghati in July this year, he himself was present among the public along with the officials. After the disaster, the second phase of the Yatra was also started soon. Now the state government is working on running the 6-month Yatra throughout the year. He said that Sari village is an ideal village where there are more than 40 home stays. The state government is also continuously increasing homestays. Homestays are becoming a source of economic growth for the state. Development work will be carried forward rapidly in Deoria Tal, Baba Tungnath and other deities. The Chief Minister said that we have to take a pledge to save our village.
The Chief Minister said that even abroad women wear their traditional clothes. This shows that our people are also promoting our traditional culture. He said that Prime Minister Modi has urged to preserve our dialect, language, culture, homes. Our Sanatan culture was there earlier, is there now, and will remain in future too. He said that women are playing an important role in the development of the state. Women are also providing employment to other people along with themselves. He said that youth are being linked with skill development. Construction work of Science City will also be done in Rudraprayag.
On this occasion, MLA Mrs. Asha Nautiyal, MLA Bharat Chaudhary, Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay, Chandi Prasad Bhatt, BJP District President Mahavir Panwar and others were present.
