Uttarakhand Cabinet approves amendment to housing policy, stamp duty exemption will be given

An important cabinet meeting was held at the Uttarakhand Secretariat in Dehradun on Wednesday, 11 December under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The cabinet meeting lasted for about three hours. 22 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting. The major proposal in the cabinet meeting is related to the subsidy given to electricity consumers. That is, the consumer who is misusing the provision of subsidy will be charged double the amount.

1. Along with this, the amendment made in the Uttarakhand Housing Policy got approval from the Cabinet, under which stamp duty exemption will be given.
2. Vehicle drivers will get uniform allowance at the rate of Rs 3000 per year. Financial authority given to the Chairman of Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission as Head of Department.
3. Notional increment will be given to the employees retiring on 30 June or 31 December. Actually, employees get increment once a year, but many times employees retire in the middle of the year or at the end of the year, then they do not get the benefit of increment in their pension. On which the Finance Department has decided that if any employee retires on 30 June or 31 December, then additional notional increment will be given for pension calculation.
4. Amendment made in the scheme run for the recruitment of specialist doctors.
5. Apart from this, State Cooperative Committee Election Amendment Rules got approval. Women will get the right to vote.
6. Under the School Education Rules of the Secondary Education Department, if someone changes his gender, then he can change his name.
7. Sports University Ordinance got approval.
8. The Gau Sadan to be built in urban areas for destitute cows will be built at the level of Urban Development and the Gau Sadan to be built in rural areas will be built at the Panchayat level. The department has been given instructions to make a policy.
9. Approval to form Transgender Person Welfare Board.
   The support price of C grade apples and pears produced in Uttarakhand has been increased.
10. Approval of rules for the appointment of Anganwadi workers and Anganwadi assistants got approval.
11. Approval to the Excellent Research Paper Publication Scheme got approval.
    Permission to Transport Corporation to purchase 100 new buses. The state government will bear the interest of the loan. A budget of Rs 34 crore has been kept for this.
12. User charges made uniform in government medical colleges and affiliated hospitals
13. Approval to keep Sayala in the name of Sayal caste in Scheduled Tribes
14. The strike period of Uttarakhand Revenue Kanungo Sangh and Hill Revenue Inspector, Revenue Sub-Inspector, Revenue Servant Sangh will be converted into their earned leave.
15. Approval was given to put RERA’s annual report 2022-23 on the table of the House
16. Under the Chief Minister Vidyarthi Educational Bharat Darshan Yojana 2024, students studying in state universities and government universities of the state will be taken on an educational India tour. The cabinet has approved
17. Chief Minister Higher Education Quality Upgradation and Gyanvardhan Training Scheme approved. Under this scheme, teachers will be trained in the prestigious educational institutions of the country.
