Uttarakhand: The atmosphere of happiness turned into mourning, six people including a father who was returning after seeing off his daughter died
Six relatives including the father died in a road accident on the Tanakpur highway last Thursday night. It is being told that all these people had come from Khatima to attend the daughter’s wedding. A 10-year-old girl is also among the dead. There is mourning in the family after the accident.
Six people died in the accident
The accident happened on Thursday night. According to the information received, the daughter of Khatima resident Manzoor (65) was married to Pilibhit resident Anwar on Wednesday. The wedding was on Thursday. Manzoor went to attend it with his 25 relatives in different cars. On Thursday, while returning from the ceremony, Manzoor was returning with all the relatives after bidding farewell to his daughter.
10-year-old child also among the dead
The car in which Manzoor was travelling was moving at a high speed. While overtaking another car, the vehicle went out of control and collided with a tree. As soon as the accident happened, there was a lot of screaming on the spot. Six people died in the accident. This includes a 10-year-old child. While four people are injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
