Uttarakhand: Routes will remain diverted in Nainital till 15 December, check the diversion plan before leaving home

Hundreds of tourists come to visit Nainital on weekends. Due to which the problem of traffic jam is seen here. Nainital Police has issued a new traffic plan for the weekend. Traffic will remain diverted in Haldwani city till December 15.

This is the diversion plan

  • Vehicles going towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham, Almora from Bareilly Road will be diverted from Teenpani Tiraha and will go to their destination via Gola Bypass via Nariman Tiraha.
  • All vehicles going towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham, Almora from Rampur Road will be diverted from Sheetal Hotel Tiraha, Transport Nagar Tiraha and will go to their destination via Teenpani Bypass Tiraha and Gola Bypass Road via Nariman Tiraha.
  • Vehicles going from Kaladhungi Road towards Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchidham, Almora will be diverted from Unchapul, Laldot Tiraha and will go to their destination via Nariman Tiraha via Hydel, Call Tax Tiraha.
  • Vehicles going from Kaladhungi Road towards Rampur Road will be diverted from Mukhani Chowk, Jail Road Tiraha, Cancer Hospital Tiraha and will go to Rampur Road via Sushila Tiwari Hospital.
  • All types of vehicles coming from the mountainous region towards Haldwani will be diverted from Nariman Tiraha to Gola Bypass and Call Tax, Hydel Tiraha and will go to their destination via Panchakkki.

Movement of heavy vehicles prohibited till 9 pm

On 14 and 15 December, due to high traffic pressure on the Yatra route, movement of heavy vehicles will be prohibited from 12:00 pm to 9 pm and movement of essential service vehicles will be prohibited from 4 pm to 9 pm.
