Uttar Pradesh: There was uproar due to the death of the inspector injured in the encounter, a criminal with a reward of Rs one lakh was killed

UP STF Inspector Sunil Kumar, who was injured in an encounter late Monday night in Shamli, UP, has died. Sunil Kumar was hit by three bullets in his stomach in the encounter. Gall bladder had to be removed in the operation, some part of the large intestine had to be cut and removed.
The bullet was stuck in the back
Initially he was admitted to a hospital in Karnal but later he was referred to Medanta in Gurugram when his condition worsened. Inspector Sunil Kumar was not out of danger in the last 24 hours. He was admitted in the ICCU there. It is being told that a bullet had passed through the inspector’s liver and got stuck in the back. It was not possible to remove it, so he was left.
Got out of turn promotion
Inspector Sunil Kumar Thokia was promoted from Head Constable to Sub Inspector after getting out of turn promotion in the encounter. Inspector Sunil Kumar was also involved in the encounter of four miscreants of Kagga gang late Monday night in Shamli. The miscreants were riding in a car. When surrounded, they opened fire on the police. Sunil Kumar was injured in this. In retaliation, STF killed four criminals.
The criminals were from Kagga gang
The dead were identified as Arshad, Manjeet, Satish. One was unidentified. Arshad was a criminal with a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head. Eyewitnesses said that these people were coming from Haryana in a car and were going to Saharanpur. These criminals were members of the infamous Kagga gang. At one time, Kagga gang was so terrorizing that police stations were locked at night.
