PM Modi’s visit to Dehradun tomorrow, Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games, security of the city has been tightened, police deployed at every corner

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Dehradun on 28 January to inaugurate the 38th National Games. Tight security arrangements have been made in view of PM Modi’s visit to Dehradun. Police has also diverted the route in some areas, information of which has been released by the police administration.

All the programs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be held in Maharana Pratap Stadium, Dehradun. The area of ​​two km around the venue will be a no-flying zone. Also, carrying water bottles, bags, inflammable items and food items etc. to the venue will be prohibited. According to SP City Pramod Kumar, during the VVIP tour program, the entire venue and the airspace of 02 km around it has been declared a temporary red zone. During this time, operation of drones in the said area will be completely prohibited. Also, no person will be allowed to carry water bottles, bags, inflammable items and food items to the venue. The general public is requested not to bring any such items with them to the venue.

• On January 28, after 12 am, no taxi or maxi cab will be allowed to come from Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun from Airport Tiraha towards Thano Road. Only the people coming for the event and local people will be allowed on the basis of identity card.
• At the same time, from 7 am to 12 pm, all types of heavy vehicles will be completely prohibited from Maldevta, Ranipokhari, Thano, Jolly Grant, 6 number culvert, Ladpur Tiraha, Kargi Chowk, Naya Gaon, Transport Nagar and Laltpad.
• No traffic will be sent towards Maharana Pratap Chowk from Ladpur Tiraha and 6 number culvert barrier point after 7 pm.
• From 7 pm, the traffic coming from Maldevta Road will be diverted from Maldevta Road Barrier towards Kalagaon.
• No traffic will be sent towards Soda Saroli from Maharana Pratap Chowk and Stadium Tiraha Thano Round after 7 pm. From 7 pm, no traffic will be allowed to come towards Thano, Soda Saroli and Cricket Stadium from Bhopalpani underpass barrier.
• No traffic will be allowed to come towards Cricket Stadium and Maharana Pratap Chowk from Soda Saroli from 7 pm.
• No traffic will be allowed to come towards Thano Road from Ranipokhari, SDRF Tiraha and Bhumayan Mandir Tiraha from 6 pm on 28 January.
• No vehicles of any kind will be sent towards Jolly Grant Airport from Maharana Pratap College Gate No. 2 from 7 pm.
• Similarly, no vehicles will be allowed to come towards Soda Saroli from Thano Chowk from 7 pm.
• City buses, Magic and Vikrams running on Thano Road will not be allowed to go towards Maharana Pratap Chowk from Jogiwala, Number 6 Pulya and Ladpur Tiraha after 1 pm.
• No vehicles will be allowed to come towards Maharana Pratap Chowk from Maldevta after 2 pm.
