Preparations have started for Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2025. The date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham will be decided at Tehri Raj Darbar on Basant Panchami, February 2. For this, a program will be organized at Tehri Raj Darbar. At the same time, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open on Akshaya Tritiya on April 30.

Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee media in-charge Dr Harish Gaur said that to decide the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham, a religious ceremony will start at Narendra Nagar Rajdarbar from 10.30 am on Sunday, February 2. After proper worship and Panchang calculation, the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham will be announced.

Dr. Harish Gaur told that preparations have been started by Rajmahal Narendra Nagar and Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee to decide the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham. Apart from this, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be decided by Rawal and Dharmadhikari Vedpathi after Panchang calculation in Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath on Shivratri Wednesday 26 February.

Let us tell you that the Char Dham Yatra of the year 2025 will start from Akshaya Tritiya on 30 April. Traditionally, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. The time of opening of the doors of Gangotri Dham on Hindu New Year by Shri Gangotri Temple Committee and the time of formal opening of Yamunotri Dham on Yamuna Jayanti by Shri Yamunotri Temple Committee and the program of arrival of Dev Dolis to the Dham will be announced.

With this, preparations for Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra will begin. Similarly, the date of opening of the doors of the second Kedarnath Madmaheshwar and the third Kedarnath Tungnath will be decided on the day of Baisakhi.
