Uttarakhand: Cabinet meeting held in the middle of budget session, historic step…strict land law approved
On the second day of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly session, a bill related to land law amendment may come today. There is a possibility of proposals to table some other reports on the House table as well.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that fully respecting the long-standing demand of the people of the state and their sentiments, today the cabinet has approved a strict land law. This historic step will protect the resources, cultural heritage and rights of the citizens of the state, as well as play an important role in maintaining the original identity of the state.
Our government is fully committed to the interests of the people and we will never let their trust break. This decision makes it clear that we will make every effort to protect our state and culture. Certainly, this law will also prove to be helpful in maintaining the original form of the state.
